Beginning again, with a sense of loss diminishing,
Feeling the waves lapping agsinst my feet on the shoreline.
Starting anew, looking out on a limitless horizon,
Thoughts twist and dance between the past and the future.
There is no sense of present, just a sensation of being in limbo.
Different times of year, seasons and holidays,
serve to remind of those times long past, years of ups and downs.
But always having someone there, to help and be helped by,
creating passions, conversation, debate and ocassionally magic.
So with the Moon rising, the tide pushing me further inland,
a milky haze seen through tired eyes
I wash away the tears. Vowing to take small steps,
perhaps not travelling too far.
Yet making sure my mind and body are moving in the same direction.
